  7. Now add the heavy coconut milk and continue stirring also until it comes together and allow to simmer on medium low until it begins to thicken
  8. Season with salt and pepper as per taste.
  9. Add the fried fish in the stew to simmer so it can absorb the coconut taste(optional).
  10. Serve hot with an accompaniment of choice
