  5. Add rice, lentils,salt and clarified butter/ ghee, cook it for couple of minutes.
  6. Now add boiling water, keep it on high flame for 2 minutes, cover with lid and keep in low flame for 8-9 minutes or till water evaporates a bit.
  7. Put off the flame,open the cover and scoop out half khichdi,then arrange the fish pieces as shown below.
  8. Now place the rest of the khichdi over the arranged fish,add splits green chillies, again cook it in low flame for 5-7 minutes after air-sealing the pan.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy.
